Rise and Shine Yoga

Here are some pictures and a video from today's class! It was a great class with super participation and TONS of breathing! We talked about how our minds can be like a jar of sand and water, all mixed up, during the school day or when we feel stressed. Then we talked about how meditation involves visualizing that jar, and watching the sand float to the bottom. Sebastian said that it is like "letting our stress go." You got it, Sebastian! We were able to do a 2 minute meditation today, WOW! Mrs. Mac joined us today and she said that she would be back, we can't wait!

Until next week,

Young Yogis

Today we had a practice "lock down," drill. Everyone did a great job with the drill. While we were waiting for the drill to end, we began to focus on our breathing in order to overcome some of the anxiety from waiting, and to help center our minds. What a great experience! Well done, yogis!
