National Yoga Recess Day

Students at JFK participated in National Yoga Recess Day today!!! Teachers and students had so much fun and   I was amazed at how many of our students knew some yoga.  Here are some quotes from students:

"Yoga at recess, AWESOME!! Can we do it the whole recess!"-2nd grader

"We've got a whole bunch of people to do Warrior 1, from all of the classes!" -5th grader

"I don't mind giving up my recess to do yoga, I'd do it anytime!"- 4th grader

"This is so much fun!"-1st grader

"When can we do yoga again?"-Kindergarten student.
