WOW!!! For the 9th time, Rise and Shine Yoga is sold out! In three short days, the roster has been filled and there is a waiting list for any and all available spots. Thanks for your support! I am looking forward to a wonderful yoga journey with all of you.
Special thanks to my mentor, Shakta Khalsa, for helping me get started on the path of guiding "big souls in small bodies," on their way in yoga! If you would like to learn with Shakta directly, she will be offering Yoga for Children with ADHD, Autism, and Those Who Are Differently Abled at the Kripalu Center from October 10-13th. Kripalu is a yoga retreat center located in the Berkshires, which is a short 2 hour drive from Franklin. The campus will be beautiful this time of year, alive with all of the colors of fall! I have taken this class and would recommend it to everyone. Let me know if you have any questions, I am happy to help. :) You never know, I may just drop in to say hello on my way home from NY. :)
I will see everyone bright and early on Monday, October 6th! 7:15 a.m.

Rise and Shine Yoga
Here is a video with some messages from the 5th graders. They will be moving on to Middle School next year and I know that they will carry their "yoga tool box," with them wherever they go!
Also, here are some pictures from our last class. Students are leading others in their favorite pose and we played "the feather game," at the end of class! I look forward to seeing you again in the fall and we will welcome new students to our group.

Rise and Shine Yoga
We had fun working with yoga balls today. What a great way to practice balance and BREATHING! It was a lot of fun to relax and get "smooshed," by the ball! Click here to see a video of us using the yoga balls with a partner!
